The duo have also confirmed that the hooded figure in Resident Evil Requiem is not a returning character, but rather a brand new one.
Confidence from porting Resident Evil Village to the hardware ultimately led Capcom to develop a version for the Switch 2.
"We're always happy that people are interested in the game enough to speculate so much,” said producer Masato Kumazama.
While the TGS 2025 demo in handheld mode may not be running at 60 frames per second, the frame rate is stable, and it looks good.
