Light puzzle solving and safe cracking has been a staple of the Resident Evil series of games, and returns in Resident Evil Requiem as well. While they are not that hard to solve, the solutions may still be evading many players.
This guide for Resident Evil Requiem is a quick rundown of every known puzzle and safe combination in the game.
Chairman’s Office Puzzle Box
Acquire the pencil from the rear room of the Chairman’s Office, then use it to pencil-shade the notebook in the office, and view the combination.
From left to right, the sequence is:
- Moon
- Sun
- Star
- Moon
Lead Researcher’s Office Puzzle Box
Collect the Corrosive in the Conference Room, which is down the hallway from the Lead Researcher’s Office. Use it on the padlock back in the Lead Researcher’s Office to dissolve it.
As for the solution, the symbols are hidden within the photos around the office itself.
From left to right, the sequence is:
- Star
- Sun
- Moon
- Sun
Organ Transport Box
The solution to this is acquired from the previous puzzle.
In your inventory, examine the box so that you can rotate it and view the rear panel.
Turn the round knob to ‘HAND’.
Move the slider on the right to the center.
From the row of toggle switches along the top left:
- Drop 2
- Drop 5
Turn the round knob back to ‘AUTO’.
Security Manager’s Office Puzzle Box
This not-really-a-Puzzle-Box is automatically opened by Emily via a cutscene. Interact with both it and the book, then take the ID Wristband off of the table. Return to Emily via the Central Hall safe room, and bring her to the Puzzle Box.
Blood Specimen (Denatured)
Located in the Care Center’s Blood Lab.
Simply select the second of the three cubes.
Blood Specimen (Converged)
Located in the Closet of the Care Center’s Waiting Room behind a door lock.
From the top row of cubes, select the middle or lowest one.
From the bottom row of cubes, select the middle one, or second from the bottom.
Blood Specimen (Reversible)
Located in a room through a locked door in the Care Center’s Blood Lab, and which opens with the ID Wristband.
Starting from the bottom left corner, select that cube, then proceed diagonally towards the top right to select the lower of the two vertically connected cubes.
The third cube is in the top right corner, and then proceed diagonally to the left to select the lower of this pair of vertically connected cubes to make four selections in total.
Blood Specimen (Polymerized)
This Blood Specimen swaps out the Reversible one when playing on Insanity difficulty only, in the very same location.
Starting from the left, select the middle cube in the foreground
Next is the middle cube directly opposite it on the right.
The third and final cube is the middle cube in the background that is directly connected to the previous two.
Safe Combinations
The safe combos remain the same between Casual and Standard difficulties, while changing in Insanity mode.
