Rise of the Tomb Raider Heading to Xbox Game Pass in March

Lara Croft's latest adventure will be part of the game streaming service soon.

The next big game coming to Xbox Game Pass in March is none other than Crystal Dynamics’ Rise of the Tomb Raider. Xbox Live director of programming Larry “Major Nelson” Hyrb confirmed the same on Twitter with a small little teaser. The attached image indicated that more titles will be announced in the coming days.

Another one of the eight March titles is Rare’s Sea of Thieves as part of Microsoft’s new initiative to release Xbox One exclusives for Game Pass on the same day as retail. That means if you’re a Game Pass subscriber, then you can effectively play Sea of Thieves for just $10 rather than the $60 asking price.

Other titles like Crackdown 3, State of Decay and the next games in the Halo, Forza and Gears of War franchises have also been confirmed for launch on Game Pass. Time will tell if this incentivizes more people to pick up an Xbox One though. Stay tuned for more information.
