RoboCop: Rogue City Developer is Hiring for a New Action RPG

Recent job listings have indicated that this new project is developed on Unreal Engine 5 for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC.

Polish developer Teyon of RoboCop: Rogue City and Terminator: Resistance fame has a new project in the works. According to job listings on its official website, it’s working on a new action RPG for PC and consoles.

The listings are for Regular/Senior C++ Game Programmer, Cutscene Designer, Junior Gameplay Designer, and Senior Environment Artist. Experience with Unreal Engine is required, with Unreal Engine 5 (also used to develop RoboCop: Rogue City) mentioned a few times. The programmer listing also notes benefits like the opportunity to “work from an early stage on a very interesting project backed by a major publisher” and the “opportunity to work with console platforms (PS5, XSX) from day one.”

The real question is whether this new title is based on an existing media franchise or a new IP. If it revisits the 80s action movie well, maybe Rambo could be up next. Time will tell.

Teyon’s last release, RoboCop: Rogue City, has done well for the studio, becoming Nacon’s biggest launch yet. There are no plans for sequel or DLC, though an update added New Game Plus earlier this year. Head here for our review of the title.
