Teyon’s RoboCop: Rogue City is a success for Nacon, becoming the publisher’s biggest launch. It’s had over 435,000 players in two weeks, with 2.7 million active game sessions recorded. Check out the new accolades trailer, which showcases critical praise for the title.

Concerning its success, Nacon CEO Alain Falc said in a press release, “RoboCop: Rogue City has exceeded our expectations and achieved a genuine feat as far as Nacon is concerned. We are really proud to have been able to work with the studio Teyon on this game created by and for RoboCop die-hards. We would also like to thank MGM for the trust they placed in us throughout this collaboration, as well as all the players who have contributed to making this release such a great success.”

Based on the iconic action films, RoboCop: Rogue City is after the second film’s events. It sees Alex Murphy as RoboCop (with original actor Peter Weller reprising his role), cleaning up crime and maintaining peace in Detroit. While police officers go missing and gangs run wild, Project Afterlife lurks in the shadows.

Though primarily a first-person shooter, players can also investigate crimes, gathering clues and passing judgment, either serving the people or upholding the law. Complete missions and gain XP to unlock new abilities, like ricocheting bullets and passive health regeneration.

RoboCop: Rogue City is available for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC. Check out our review for more details.
