With E3 officially in full swing, we getting lots of information on some of the most anticipated games, even if that information isn’t coming from any of the official press conferences. One game that has chosen to make an announcement via Twitter is Rock Band 4. Developers, Harmonix confirmed through a tweet that the game will be going on sale on October 6.
Fans of the game had already gotten wind that the game would be coming in October, thanks to an Amazon listing of the Rock Band 4, Band-in-a-Box Software Bundle. Until now, there hadn’t been any official confirmation that the month was correct. The software bundle is apparently real as well and comes with “a Wireless Fender Stratocaster Guitar Controller, Wireless Drum Kit, and USB Mic.”
The bundle is apparently for hardcore lovers of the game series because has an MSRP of $249. That bundle is available right now. Rockband 4 is coming to the PS4 and Xbox One on October 6 and while there were rumors it would be available for the PC as well, that talk was eventually squashed.
