Rocket League Patch to Address PS4 Fan Noise, Terrible Translations

Psyonix also open to releasing Rocket League for more platforms.

Psyonix’s Rocket League has taken the world by storm on PS4 and PC with its addictive and innovative gameplay. There are still some kinks to be worked out though including issues on the PS4 which result in overheating of the console (along with increased fan noise).

The developer has been working on these issues though. On Twitter, it stated that, “When our first major patch is approved, it will include: visual optimizations (reduces fan noise), fixes for terrible translations, and more.” It’s been noted that the patch is currently in certification and will go live in the coming days.

Meanwhile, Psyonix is also interested in bringing Rocket League on to other platforms like the Xbox One. “We’re open to coming to more platforms. It’s all about time, demand, and resources (we’re a small team).”
