The wait for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl has been a long one, but with the long-anticipated open world survival horror FPS drawing closer to its launch a few months down the line, on the 38th anniversary of the Chornobyl nuclear disaster, developer GSC Game World has released a brief new trailer that offers another look at the game.
Dubbed “Not a Paradise”, the trailer showcases the protagonist conversing with another character, with several shots showing off the gorgeous yet decrepit environments of the Exclusion Zone. Additionally, the trailer also serves as the first showing for what Ukrainian voice overs will sound like in the game. It was previously confirmed that at launch, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 will feature both English and Ukrainian VO options. Check out the trailer below.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl launches on September 5 for Xbox Series X/S and PC. When it was delayed out of Q1 2024 earlier in the year, GSC Game World said the game “needs more time on the technical side of things.” Read more on that through here.
