S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl has looked increasingly promising with each of its showings in recent years, and the level of visual fidelity it’s promising to hit has surely been one of its most enticing aspects. Now, with the game drawing closer to its launch early next year, developer GSC Game World has also offered details on what you can expect from it by way of graphics modes.
In a recent interview with Chinese outlet Gamersky, GSC Game World revealed that on Xbox Series X/S, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 will have a Graphics Mode, as well as a 60 FPS Performance Mode. The developer did not, however, go into detail on what resolution it will target across both modes.
Interestingly, GSC Game World previously said that S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 would support up to 120 FPS on Xbox Series X, so it remains to be seen whether that’s still part of the plan for the developer.
Meanwhile, in the same interview, the studio also revealed that the open world shooter will have main story about 40 hours in length.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl is set to launch for Xbox Series X/S and PC sometime in Q1 2024. A new trailer for the game was recently released- check it out through here.
