SNK’s Samurai Shodown, the 2019 follow-up in the famed weapon fighting series, releases on June 11th for PC. It will retail for $49.99 though pre-orders can net a 10 percent discount. You can also pick up both Season Passes for $19.99 each at launch. Note that the PC version will release for the Epic Games Store, not Steam.
Samurai Shodown may have brand-spanking new visuals but its gameplay is still very much old-school. Battles can end in just a few sword swings, weapons can be knocked out of enemy hands, and you’ll be jostling for that perfect opportunity whenever possible. Story-wise, it takes place one year after the first game so it’s definitely worth looking into for series’ fans.
