Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice Teases New Boss With Latest Trailer

I'm guessing Lady Butterfly won't be as pleasant as her name suggests.

Bosses are the soul of any FromSoftware title, and though Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is setting itself apart from other games made by the developer in several ways, that’s one are where it won’t be deviating too much. We’ve already seen glimpses of two bosses from the game  – Corrupted Monk and Gyoubu Masataka Oniwa – and now, thanks to a short teaser video released by FromSoftware, we can take a look at another one.

The newest boss to be introduced is Lady Butterfly, an old woman whose agility and skills with her weapons belie her seemingly frail looks. The trailer’s a very short one at roughly 30 seconds long, and gives us only a glimpse of her as she “welcomes” the protagonist before proceeding to engage him in battle, but it gives us an exciting tease of what to expect when we run into her in the game nonetheless. Take a look below.

A story-focused trailer for the game was also recently released, which gave us a deeper look at the protagonist and his past. Take a look through hereSekiro: Shadows Die Twice launches on March 22 for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
