A new Sherlock Holmes game has been announced; this one will be a sequel to the excellent The Testament of Sherlock Holmes and Crimes and Punishment: Sherlock Holmes. Sherlock Holmes: The Devil’s Daughter will feature five cases for the sleuth to get to the bottom of, using only the clues that he can discover and infer. The game also features a semi open world experience, as players will be free to visit any part of the playable area at any point in time, rather than being boxed in to the locations the present case is taking place in.
The game also features new, state of the art graphics, as it is the first title in the series to be targeted at only the next generation spec (Crimes and Punishments also came to the PS3 and Xbox 360, in addition to PS4, Xbox One, and PC). It promises us a new, thrilling story, which is unprecedented in the annals of Sherlock Holmes.
Sherlock Holmes: The Devil’s Daughter is due to launch in 2016. Stay tuned for more coverage and information.
