Silent Hill 2 Remake PS5 Pro Fixes Are Still in the Works, Bloober Team Reiterates

Developer Bloober Team and publisher Konami will share more details on the fixes for the PS5 Pro update "as soon as we have them."

Silent Hill 2’s incredible 2024 remake was one of several titles that pledged early support for the PS5 Pro upon the console’s launch last year. However, it didn’t quite pan out perfectly.

Though the survival horror remake received some enhancements on Sony’s more powerful console, the update also had a host of technical issues. Patches were released to address some of those issues, but many persisted, with Konami and developer Bloober Team promising further patches and fixes.

Updates have dried up since then, however, prompting some to wonder whether those fixes are still on the way. In a statement to Eurogamer, Bloober Team has confirmed that it is working with Konami on “a solution” and will have more information to share… at some point.

“We’re working with the publisher on a solution and will share more details as soon as we have them,” the developer said when asked about a PS5 Pro patch for Silent Hill 2.

Silent Hill 2 is available on PS5 and PC. Check out our review of the game through here.
