The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim Special Edition is out next week but in the meantime, take a gander at how some of the cities look with the benefit of improved visuals. These include Riften, Windhelm, Markarth, Solitude, Whiterun, Winterhold and more courtesy of FudgeMuppet on YouTube.
Along with improved visuals, Skyrim Special Edition will also bring a new Creation Kit and 64-bit support. It will also mark the first time that Skyrim receives mods on consoles, even if it’s just for the PS4 and Xbox One (sorry previous gen owners).
PC users who own Skyrim and all of its DLC will be eligible to receive the Special Edition absolutely free of cost. Oddly enough, despite featuring prominently in the Nintendo Switch’s reveal trailer, it’s currently not confirmed for that platform.
The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim Special Edition is out on October 28th. Will you be picking it up? Let us know in the comments below.
