The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim is at this point available on anything with a computer chip that can even sort of run it. Just this year, it is coming to the Nintendo Switch, and to PlayStation VR. However, Skyrim VR will not remain a PlayStation VR exclusive- in fact, it will be coming to HTC Vive as well, next year.
GameSpot has confirmed in a recent video that Skyrim VR is due for PC via an HTC Vive release (no, Bethesda still will not support Oculus, even though their official lawsuit against the company is now concluded) at some point in 2018- so PC players who want to explore Skyrim again, but this time in VR, get the chance to do so soon. Of course, PC players also get to play Fallout 4 in VR on the Vive.
Skyrim VR will come with Dawnguard, Hearthfire, and Dragonborn included. Mod support, or the possibility for it, is unclear as of right now.
