Xbox Live’s latest and greatest weekly deal is now in and it’s United Front Games’ open world game Sleeping Dogs.
Major Nelson reports that the game will be discounted this week, along with discounts on its DLC packs. Though discounts on the game vary by region, the discounts on the DLC Packs are 50 percent each. The deal is expected to end on January 21st.
As an open world action game that mixes deep melee fighting, bullet time, and a heavy dose of Chinese Triads, Sleeping Dogs was a pretty good hit for Square Enix, both commercially and critically. Originally True Crime: Hong Kong, the rights were picked up by the publisher and refashioned into the game we know today.
Since its success, talks are on of Sleeping Dogs becoming “a potential franchise” according to producer Dan Sochan. If you’ve been on the boat regarding the game thus far, now is a great time to pick it up.
