Slitterhead Launches on November 8th, Per Leaked Gameplay Trailer

The now-private trailer reveals that Bokeh Game Studio's action horror title is coming to Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5 and PC.

Bokeh Game Studio’s Slitterhead is one of many premieres for today’s Summer Game Fest showcase, which starts at 2 PM PT. However, it seems the trailer went live early on the developer’s official YouTube channel, confirming a launch date of November 8th for Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, and PC.

Though it’s since gone private, you can check out the gameplay  here. It showcases the player utilizing a spectral worm-like ability to possess other civilians. When the monsters emerge, they can harness special powers, like claws, blades, and even a gatling gun seemingly made from blood. One intriguing moment involves the player’s hand getting sliced off and reattaching almost immediately while still in mid-air.

These possession abilities are also used for exploration, as players can alternate between a strange grapple and shifting from one person to the next. Slitterhead will likely receive more details during the showcase or afterwards, so stay tuned for updates.
