Snooker 19 Releases April 17th for PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Switch

The criminally underrepresented sport finally gets video game representation.

Ripstone Games, collaborating with World Snooker and Lab42, have announced that Snooker 19, a simulation of the sport which has always been largely underrepresented as far as video games are concerned, will release on April 17th, right before the 2019 Betfred World Championships at The Crucible. This game will include over 128 players from the World Snooker Tour. It is the first fully licensed Snooker game since WSC Real 11: World Snooker Championship in 2011.

Built on the Unreal Engine 4, the game will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on April 17th, 2019, and is up for digital pre-order now on the PlayStation and Xbox store for £29.99 / €34.99 / $34.99. PlayStation Plus members will receive a 10% discount on pre-orders on PS4. A Switch version is also planned for Spring ’19, but no details have been given about the version at this time.

The game is playable for those at EGX Rezzed at both the Made in Unreal booth and the ID@Xbox booth from April 4th up until April 6th.
