With Sonic Frontiers now just little over a month away from launch, Sega is continuing the rollout of new details on the open world platformer. If you’re in the group that plans on diving into its offerings on a PC, Sega has now also provided its minimum and recommended system requirements via an update to its Steam page.
Minimum settings will allow players to play the game at 720p and 30 FPS, requiring either an i5-3470 or a Ryzen 5 1400, along with either a GTX 660 (2 GB) or a Radeon HD 7870 (2 GB), and 8 GB of RAM. Meanwhile, on for 1080p and 60 FPS gameplay on recommended settings, you’ll need either an i5-6600 or a Ryzen 5 2600, along with either a GeForce GTX 1070 (8 GB) or a Radeon RX Vega 56 (8 GB), and 12 GB of RAM. Suffice it to say, the requirements aren’t awfully demanding. Meanwhile, on either setting, you’ll also need roughly 30 GB of free storage space.
Sonic Frontiers launches on November 8 for PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. As per reports, it will run at either 4K and 30 FPS or 1080p and 60 FPS on current-gen consoles, at 1080p and 30 FPS on last-gen machines, and at 720p and 30 FPS on the Nintendo Switch.
