At its Gamescom 2013 press conference, Sony confirmed that all of the studios working under its Worldwide Studios moniker were currently busy working on games for the PlayStation 4, and stated that developers like SCE Santa Monica, Media Molecule & Naughty Dog all had to-be-announced titles in development for the next generation console.
Vice president of Sony Worldwide Studios Europe Michael Denny also stated that all of the 14 studios for Sony had a role to play in the future of PlayStation. Considering that we’ve already seen The Order: 1886 from SCE Santa Monica and Ready At Dawn, it is interesting to note that the former is working on its own game. But it was always obvious that we’d see new games from Naughty Dog and Media Molecule.
The question is: What will those games be? Will we get The Last of Us 2 or Uncharted 4 or LittleBigPlanet 3 for the PlayStation 4? Stay tuned as the announcements keep pouring in.
