Sony is Set to Release a New PS5 Bundle with Two DualSense Controllers – Rumour

European retailer listings suggest that Sony will soon be releasing a new bundle for both standard and digital models of the console.

Since its launch a little over two years ago, in spite of impressive sales figures, the amount of PS5 units that Sony has been able to produce has been restricted by manufacturing constraints. Recent weeks, however, have seen things getting back on track behind-the-scenes, with the console now much easier to find at retail, and it seems Sony has plans to capitalize on that by providing prospective PS5 owners with more purchase options.

As spotted by German outlet WinFuture, several European retailers recently listed a new bundle for the PS5. Sony is apparently planning to release a new PS5 bundle that will come with two DualSense controllers instead of just one, with both versions of the console set to receive the bundle.

While exact prices for both are currently unknown, based on retailer listings, it seems like the standard version bundle will cost between €649 and €699, while the digital version will cost between €619 and €669. Box images of both bundles also seem to have leaked, which would lend some credence to the aforementioned details.

Previously, leaks have also claimed that Sony is working on a new model of the PS5 that will come with detachable disc drive. Allegedly, the model is supposed to replace both existing PS5 SKUs and is set to launch in September.
