Spencer On Uncharted & Crackdown, Won’t Try & Convince PC Gamers To Buy Xbox One During PC Games Show

Spencer talks about E3 and how he does not want his plans to leak out.

Doing what he does best, Xbox boss Phil Spencer took to Twitter to answer fan questions regarding Xbox One, E3, the recent announcement of Uncharted Collection and more. Phil Spencer is all set to take center stage during the first ever PC Games Show at E3. For those who are worried that he will try and sell the Xbox One during the PC focused event, Spencer assured that it’s not going to happen. “I’m not on the stage to try and convince PC Gamers to buy an Xbox One if that’s what people are worried about.”

He also praised Sony’s move to include the beta for Uncharted 4 in the Uncharted collection, stating that “I liked the video Sony did for the collection, it’s a great franchise for them. It’s smart to include the MP beta.” He also seemed secretive about which games will be announced during E3 but he assured that Crackdown is making great progress. Furthermore, he assured players that the 1st party line up for Xbox One will be distinct during both E3 and Gamescom. “This year our 1st party presence at both shows will be strong and mostly distinct. It’s going to be fun.”

He also aims to improve the patch frequency of games. “As more service based games hit Xbox our cert[ification] time and patch time is something we are very focused on with our partners.” So hopefully this will mean that games will be patched up faster on the Xbox One.
