There’s been a slew of coverage on the upcoming Spider-Man on Game Informer recently, and it’s revealed a lot of really interesting information about the Insomniac title. But there’s also been some quotes from the game’s developers that, while they don’t reveal any particular piece of info on the game, definitely qualify as interesting.
In a rapid-fire interview that’s part of the coverage, the game’s director Bryan Intihar commented on how he would love to hypothetically see Spidey in a Kingdom Hearts game- going on to briefly talk about other Marvel worlds as well. “That’s like my dream,” Intihar said when asked about whether Spider-Man would ever be in Kingdom Hearts. “That’d be awesome. They gotta start putting Marvel worlds in there, right?”
“They just added the Pixar stuff, right?” he continued. “So we need Star Wars, we need Marvel…” The interviewer then suggested Disney XD shows as well, to which Intihar said- “Yeah of course. That’d be awesome to have Sora dressed as Spider-Man. That’d be great.”
Well, it’s definitely an interesting proposition, and seeing as how Marvel and Star Wars are both owned by Disney, it’s not completely beyond the realm of possibility that both of them could feature in Kingdom Hearts someday. Spider-Man launches on the PS4 on September 7. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for more coverage.
