Google’s Stadia service got off onto bit of a rocky start. Whether or not the service will survive or it will join the many (many) Google services that’s been put into the graveyard over the years remains to be seen. Here’s crossing your fingers that it manages to hang in there and become a strong competitor in the industry. One way to do that is making it more available to more people, which Google has managed to do today.
Originally, the Stadia service was only accessible via the Chromecast Ultra that came with the Founder’s Edition that launched earlier in the year. Now, though, it’s been extended to work with all Chromecast Ultras with a new update as announced via the official Twitter, which you can see below.
Google seems to be sticking with the service for now, and hopefully being available on more systems will be a big help to its growth. Don’t forget that Founders will be getting an extra buddy pass, so don’t forget to check your app.
