Star Wars Battlefront 2 – Count Dooku Arrives on January 23rd

Triple XP events across various modes also announced for January.

DICE’s Star Wars Battlefront 2 has a number of XP events scheduled for the next few weeks. However, it will also receive Count Dooku, the villainous Sith from Star Wars Episode 2: Attack of the Clones, on January 23rd. A handy schedule for the upcoming updates can be seen in a tweet from the official EA Star Wars account below.

As part of the Darth Tyranus update, Count Dooku will join the roster of heroes. He’ll have an additional appearance, “Dark Ritual”, along with a new “Coruscant Guard” appearance for Clone Troopers. Star Wars Battlefront 2 has received other famous heroes from the prequel trilogy in past months as well, including General Grievous and Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Meanwhile, f you’ve only recently hopped into Battlefront 2, then the upcoming Heroes and Villains XP event is worth checking out as well. Available from January 4th to 6th, Heroes vs. Villains and Hero Showdown will bestow three times the amount of XP. It’s the perfect way to level up heroes, both new and old. The next triple XP event will take place on January 11th to 13th and lets players earn additional experience with troopers in Blast and Strike modes.
