Star Wars Battlefront 2 May Be Getting Private Matches, Changes to Rolling and Dodging, and More

Some good news on the post launch support front.

Star Wars Battlefront 2 continues to get content, with DICE’s Design Director Dennis Brännvall apparently taking to Twitter to tease additional features and content that may be coming to EA’s controversial shooter in the future.

Among these will apparently be included the option to play private matches- or at least, it’s an idea that he seems to be openly contemplating and entertaining on Twitter. He also seems to be saying that tweaks to rolling and dodging, two mechanics that are instrumental to the flow of the moment to moment gameplay of a Battlefront game, will be getting some tweaks soon. He also promised more information on skins, as well as dropping a tease about Anakin Skywalker possibly joining the fray.

All of which sounds good- and is the kind of post launch support that will help the beleaguered game win back some fans after the massive microtransactions fueled controversies it found itself in the midst of a couple of months ago. Star Wars Battlefront 2 is out now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
