Taking a few notes from DICE’s Battlefield 1, Star Wars: Battlefront 2 will have its own multi-stage mode for multiplayer. A full multiplayer match on Theed detailing the battle between the Separatists and Clone Troopers can be gleaned below.
The match itself has 20 players on both sides and we get a look at the different classes including the Specialists. These are heavy classes with more health, a combat shield and the ability to push into locations. Vehicle gameplay from the perspective of a Droid Vulture (which ended in premature tragedy) was also seen and they’re paramount for supporting ground troops.
It was also announced that Star Wars: Battlefront 2 would not have a Season Pass. Instead, players will experience different seasons of content as free DLC.
The first season will release in December and feature content from The Last Jedi including Finn and Captain Phasma as playable heroes. Crait and D’Qar will also be included as new maps and future content will include more planets, vehicles, weapons and modes.
Star Wars: Battlefront 2 is out on November 17th for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
