If you pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition of Star Wars Battlefront 2, you can now play the game three days early. This is separate from the EA/Origin Access trial that was available to Xbox One and PC owners respectively since the full campaign is now available along with multiplayer. Or at least what hasn’t been locked behind lots of Credits and the random luck of the draw from loot boxes.
The Deluxe Edition can still be purchased now for those who want to jump in immediately, though it will set you back by $80 compared to the Standard Edition’s price of $60. The Deluxe Edition offers numerous packs containing attachments and abilities for multiplayer along with instant access to Kylo Ren and Rey from Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
In other news, EA has decided to reduce the Credits cost for heroes like Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker to make it easier for players to buy them. Of course, that completely ignores the issue of being pay to win since buying a number of loot boxes can give you better Star Cards, crafting materials and credits for an advantage. Star Wars Battlefront 2 is out for all on November 17th on Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
