DICE’s Star Wars Battlefront 2 has received more than its share of information on the upcoming multiplayer mode, especially with the recent beta that took place. What about the campaign though, especially since it’s supposed to encompass 30 years and star Iden Versio, the commander of Inferno Squad?
Ask and ye shall receive as DICE has confirmed a new story trailer to be releasing on October 19th. The news coming via the official Star Wars YouTube channel which also includes a bit of a sneak peek of what to expect as Iden escapes from a holding cell.
What we do know of the campaign is that it’s being developed by Motive Studios helmed by Jade Raymond (of Assassin’s Creed fame). The overall length is unknown but it’s still a significant step up from last year’s edition which had next to no campaign whatsoever, forget much by way of offline content.
Star Wars Battlefront 2 releases on November 17th for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
