EA and DICE’s beleaguered Star Wars Battlefront 2 continues to get multiple new updates- especially in the face of the “new” progression system (designed to inject microtransactions and loot boxes back into the game), which is supposed to be introduced into the game in the coming months.
Update 1.2, thankfully, is bereft of any movements towards that, and just includes a whole lot of rebalancing, as well as new locations for Custom Arcade (including Kashyyyk, Hoth, Endor, Crait, Jakku, and Death Star II), and limited-time appearances for Luke, Leia, and Han on Hoth (unlockable by completing in game challenges). The previously confirmed Jetpack Cargo mode is also finally added to the game, so you can check that out for yourself.
It’s a massive update, so make sure to read the full patch notes for yourself to see what is and isn’t making the cut. Star Wars Battlefront 2 is available now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
