Star Wars Battlefront 2 Will Receive “Significant Changes” To Progression System, A New Game Mode And A New Season

EA has announced what the upcoming updates for the game will entail.

Star Wars: Battlefront 2 is a game that had some serious problems when it had launched. A lot of these issues were to do with the inclusion of unfair microtransactions which made the progressions system really unfair. Now, EA has announced some new updates that will bring changes to the progression system along with a enw game mode and a new season.

While EA had temporarily disabled microtransactions altogether, they have slowly been revamping the progression system that now allows players to earn rewards quicker. EA has stated that “significant changes” will be made to the progression system in accordance with feedback they have received and we can expect to hear more details about this in March. Additionally, a new game mode known as ‘Jetpack Cargo’ will be out in February and will have two teams of eight players each equipped with jet packs and facing off against each other. This game mode will only be available for a limited time period.

Finally, a new season is  also on the horizon but not many details have been shared about this, but the developers  will be using all they’ve learnt so far and integrating this into the new season. Are you excited about these upcoming updates to the game? Let us know in the comments.
