Star Wars Battlefront Doesn’t Share Systems With Battlefield

GM Patrick Bach says the quality of the game is still "very DICE".

As if DICE hasn’t made it clear already, the upcoming Star Wars Battlefront is as different from the dev’s Battlefield series as it would be from any other shooter.

DICE GM Patrick Bach spoke to Official PlayStation Magazine UK and noted that both games don’t share any mechanics or systems between them. “They are as far apart as any shooter would be to any other shooter. I think people will be surprised that it’s even a DICE game in some cases, but I think that the quality of the game and the quality of the audio, the visuals, the emotion it evokes will hopefully feel very DICE.”

From what we’ve seen though, it’s obvious that DICE has nailed the authenticity of the Star Wars atmosphere to a T.

Star Wars Battlefront will release on November 17th in North America and November 20th in Europe for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Stay tuned for more information on the same in the coming months.
