For all of my disdain towards Star Wars Battlefront, for being a shallow and content starved experience, I have to hand them this, as this is super cool and interesting- unlike just about every other game released this generation, you don’t have to wait for Battlefront to finish installing (or even reach a minimum threshold installed) before you can play it. Now that the game is out on Xbox One early via EA Access, we can confirm that after 20% of the game has been installed, the game lets you play minigame, in which you are playing as Darth Vader, taking on all the Rebel scum that you can.
The game shows you how many Rebels you’ve killed, but in the ultimate ignominy, it stops tracking them after 99. Poor Rebels, they never stood a chance.
Star Wars Battlefront is launching on the PS4, Xbox one, and PC on November 18. Stay tuned for more coverage.
