Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Tech Comparison – Xbox One X vs Xbox Series X Frame Rate Analysis

Our latest video outlines the differences in performance between Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order on the Xbox One X and the Xbox Series X.

Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order is certainly one of the best Star Wars games of the last generation, and the latest next-gen patch improves the game’s technical performance by a significant margin. Check out our framerate comparisons video below for more details.

Using the performance mode option on the Xbox Series X, the game runs at what looks to be a perfectly locked 60fps at a 1440p image resolution most of the time. When turned off, the framerate halves down to 30 but the resolution is maintained at native 4K most of the time. This is a considerable improvement over the Xbox One X version of the game, which can’t hit the target of 60fps consistently in its performance mode even when the resolution is limited to a dynamic 1080p resolution (although temporal reconstruction pushed it to 1920 X 1080 resolution). In non-performance mode, the Xbox One X ran at at a stable 30 frames per second with a dynamic 1440p resolution, but temporal reconstruction pushed it to 3840 X 2160 resolution.

Xbox Series X is certainly the best place to play Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order right now, which is available as a part of the Xbox Game Pass catalog at no additional price.
