Starcraft 2 Patch Adds Third Nova Covert Ops Pack, Changes Multiplayer

New co-op mission also available.

Starcraft 2 has received its latest patch with 3.8.0 that adds significant content to single-player while changing up the multiplayer.

The third mission pack for the Nova Covert Ops is now available to those who purchased the mission bundle (or the pack individually). As the final mission pack, this will wrap up the Nova storyline. And like before, you have plenty of new instruments to play with. There’s also a new co-op mission “Miner Evacuation” which sees you extracting miners off of an infected planet.

Multiplayer’s revamp adds quite a lot of changes including the Cyclone now acting as a front-line unit that can damage anti-armour units and the Siege Tank increasing in power while requiring more Medivacs to lift it up. You can check out the majority of changes here. Be warned though – there’s a lot to go through.
