Still Having Trouble With PSN After Outage? Try This

Here's something to try to get your PlayStation back online, if you're still locked out.

Following on from the service outage from yesterday on the PlayStation Network, it appears some users are still having trouble connecting to the servers or accessing several features. While it was an unplanned outage, Sony says they were fixed about six hours later, and many users were back online after quickly checking on their credit cards. Some weren’t so lucky with reconnecting.

If you’re one of those unlucky few who can’t reestablish a connection to the server, you’re probably getting an error code like “NP-399225-1”, “NP-39232-9” or “CE-34861-2”. Never fear, there is something you can try. Head into your settings and from the account management section, completely log out of PSN. Then turn off your PS4 system completely, give it a minute and then go log back in. As always, it’s not a 100% guarantee that this method will work but try it out just in case.

Unfortunately it’s not unusual to see a small handful of users have continued issues after a service outage. If the above didn’t help you at all, consider calling support or giving Ask Playstation a quick shout over on Twitter.
