Stray – Day One Patch Includes Improved Navigation, Lots of Collision Fixes, and More

Improved audio in cinematics, graphical tweaks and fixes, and polishing to sound and general mix-in are also some of the day one fixes.

BlueTwelve Studio’s Stray releases next week on PS4, PS5 and PC. It will also be available for PlayStation Extra and Premium subscribers at launch. Update 1.01 for the same went live on July 9th, weighing in at 5.7 GB according to PlayStation Game Size on Twitter. However, update 1.02 went live shortly after.

This is reportedly the day one patch and includes improvements to navigation “in various places” and audio during cinematics. Audio sounds and general mix-in have also been polished while some game scripts were made “more robust” on reloading checkpoints. Graphical tweaks and fixes, improved localization for various languages and a “LOT” of collision issues have also been fixed.

More fixes could be in-bound in the coming days so stay tuned. Launching on July 19th, Stray is the story of a cat stranded in a run-down cybercity with various robots. With the help of a small drone, it must navigate the city’s alleys, rooftops and sewers to reunite with its family.
