Superliminal is Out Now for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S

All versions have also received a free update, which adds Developer Mode for behind-the-scenes details and Challenge Mode for tougher puzzles.

Pillow Castle Games’ Superliminal has been released for Xbox Series X/S and PS5, running at 4K and 60 FPS. PS4 and Xbox One owners can also upgrade to the current-gen versions for free. Check out the release trailer below to see how it looks.

In addition to 4K and 60 FPS, there are also new features for all versions like Developer Mode and Challenge Mode. The former provides some behind-the-scenes information detailing the game’s development and secrets. The latter is meant to be an answer to speedrunners, providing restrictions on some of the puzzles. You’ll need to solve them with limited jumps, grabs, and time.

For new players, Superliminal is essentially a forced perspective puzzle game. Played in first-person, one must solve puzzles by viewing things differently. Doing so can increase or decrease the size of objects, doors, and whatnot. Along with testing your mental skills, it’s also a surreal experience that’s genuinely fun to run through.
