The Best Landing Spots:

Kings Canyon is a massive map and it’s often not easy to find the best spot to land on. In this guide, we are going to take a look at the best spots where you can land in order to get the best loot.

Hot Zones: These are indicated by a large blue circle and is usually home to weapons complete with attachments and high-level armor. However, this area is visible to everyone so you can expect a lot of players to target this area making it hard to survive there.

Supply Ship: This is the best spot for some initial loot. The ship is marked on your map and if you are lucky you may come across it while you are landing.

Supply Drop: These drop much later in the match. However, note that its dropping location is random.

Other Locations: You may also find some high-quality loot in the Water Treatment and Thunderdome areas.

How To Obtain The Heirloom Set?

At the time of writing this guide, there is only one Heirloom Set which applies only to Wraith. However, it’s extremely difficulty to get one. The chances of unlocking this is just a mere 1% of the player base. So, how do you unlock this? The set can be obtained via the Apex Packs which can either be unlocked through natural progressions or can be bought through the store. If you want to go through the former method, the game will give 40 odd Apex Packs if you managed to level up from 1 to 100, and beyond that further leveling up is required. Note that without this set, you will be limited to 500 Apex Packs, which indirectly means that you may need to go through 500 Apex Packs in order to unlock this set, and that too is not guaranteed.

The Heirloom Set consists of a Wraith Heirloom Intro Quip, Wraith Heirloom Melee Skin and a Wraith Heirloom Battle Pose. You can also unlock the Wraith Knife using the same method as mentioned before. However, once again the chances of getting one are very slim.

Best Weapons:

Apex Legends has a vast arsenal of weapons. However, the following is our list of best weapons that you need to get hold of.

In this guide, we are only going to focus on Legend Tokens and Crafting Materials. Both of these are a part of the Apex Pack system. The more your play the game, the more you earn XP and level up. Once you level up, you have a chance of earning these currencies.

So, obviously, if you need more Legend Coins and Crafting Materials, you need to level up faster (which we have covered below). Using Legend Tokens you can earn store cosmetics and new Legends. Using Crafting Materials, you will be able to procure Trackers, Poses, Finishers and Legend Skins.

How To Level Up Faster?

As noted previously, you need to level up if you need to unlock Legend Tokens and Crafting Materials. Below you will find some tips and tricks which will help you gain XP quickly.

Number of Kills: The most basic tip is to get as many kills as you can. Furthermore, you will also gain XP if you any damage done to enemy players’ health.

Play With Friends: Playing with friends with net you 5% survival time bonus and 300 XP if you finish in top 3.

Try and Survive: The longer you stay alive, the more XP you will earn.

Kill the Champion: This will net you 500 XP. There is a champion target for each match so try and get that kill.

Kill The Leader: This will net you a nice boost in XP.

Know The Color of the Loot Boxes: Once you kill a player, they will drop loot. The rarity of that loot is indicated by its color. So, keep note of the color while you loot other player’s gears, attachments and more.

Strategically Use The Respawn Beacons, Hot Zones And Jump Towers – The in-game map is not only filled with varied locations, but it also houses three map objects that can drastically change the course of your match. Use the Respawn Beacons to bring back downed players to action, Jump Towers, as the name suggests, allows you to fly in the air and get back to the ground. And lastly, Hot Zones will give you rare loot but the location of the zone is randomized.

Best Played With Friends – Apex Legends is best played with friends. The game doesn’t provide a solo option so it’s best to tag along with friends. This will seriously help you in planning and strategizing as you take out other squads.

Select Your Character Carefully  – There are 8 characters in the game, each with their own special abilities/skills which are divided into three categories: Ultimate, Tactical and Passive. Note that each squad can’t have the same character so yes, no duplicates are allowed. And most importantly, you should select the Character that matches your playstyle.

Stick Close To Your Squad – Apex Legends puts major emphasis on squad communication. If you are planning to stay away from your team and go out all alone and guns blazing, chances are you won’t survive. Stick close to your squad and combine squad abilities. By doing this your chances at surviving will be much higher.

There Is No Fall Damage: An intricate but a nice feature in Apex Legends is that no player will take fall damage. This will allow you to pull of some crazy moves on your enemy players. So, unlike in some other Battle Royale games where you take fall damage if you fall down from a higher place, Apex Legends totally negates that mechanic.

Know Your Map: It goes without saying this: You can’t possibly think to win matches if you are not well versed with the game’s map. The Kings Canyon is a massive playground which is filled with different kinds of buildings, which in turn is hiding various gears and items. Play more and more in the map to get and understanding of how this area is designed as this will go a long way in not only winning matches but also earning gear when you desperately need one.

It goes without saying that in a Battle Royale game, you can’t survive for long if you don’t coordinate with other players. One of the elements of coordinating is to heal other players. You can heal and restore shield by procuring the necessary items. These are health packs and batteries which are located in random locations like buildings. Get hold of them whenever possible.

When one of the players falls down, you need to get close to them and press the required button based on your platform, so as to begin the healing process. Note that it will take a few seconds before the player is completely healed, so you need to ensure you do it in safe place like behind a cover. Furthermore, if a Lifeline character decides to heal you, they can do so using their healing drone ability.

Another method is to use the Knockdown shield. As the name suggests, this item will form a protective shield covering the downed player. However, note that this shield will only protect you from one side leaving other areas exposed for other players to take you down. Just like other items, Knockdown shield can be found by exploring the game’s map.
