While a dress-up game at its core and the latest in a series that surprisingly began in 2012, Infinity Nikki is also an open-world title. Players can swap dresses with different abilities to complete challenges, as evidenced in the recent gameplay, where utilizing a blue wavy outfit allows for gliding. Another dress can gather wind energy and launch it at foes, making it ideal for combat.

Despite how straightforward combat seems, the environments boast impressive scale and gorgeous aesthetics. At one point, the player must hop on a giant origami crane to safely traverse.

Infinity Nikki is coming to PS5, PS4, PC, and mobile devices. A release date hasn’t been announced, but a beta is coming in Q3 2024. Stay tuned for more updates in the meantime.

Set before the Yellow Turban Rebellion in the Three Kingdoms era, the story centers on an amnesiac martial artist (which allows for a narrative with “greater clarity and details”). Upon arriving at a village, he teams with Zhang Jiao and Guan Yu to battle the corrupt government. As for combat, players must work alongside allies to take down enemy armies, resulting in massive battle sequences with some of the “largest armies ever seen.”

Swords, fists, and other weapons are available to battle enemies. However, if you fulfill specific conditions, it’s possible to control allied officers like Guan Yu and utilize their abilities. Origins also has a world map with various battlefields to select, though you can also interact with allies on the side.

Dynasty Warriors: Origins is out next year for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. Stay tuned for more details in the meantime.

The game’s official Twitter revealed that game director Yang Bing would provide an interview. There will also be gameplay, though whether this is new footage remains to be seen. However, at the very least, Bing could provide updates on the state of development alongside other new details.

Lost Soul Aside emerged in 2016 via a prototype that eventually led to it joining Sony’s China Hero Project. It’s seen multiple delays through the years, with extensive gameplay showcasing gorgeous visuals and intense combat. However, the hack-and-slash action RPG was rated in China last April, so information on a possible release date for PS5 and PC could be forthcoming. Stay tuned for updates in the meantime.

Other titles include first-party games like Astro Bot, Horizon Forbidden West, and Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart, alongside Arrowhead Game Studios’ Helldivers 2. Various upcoming third-party games are also playable, like S-GAME’s Phantom Blade Zero, Papergames’ Infinity Nikki, SNK’s Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, NetEase Games’ Rusty Rabbit, and more. Kuro Games’ Wuthering Waves is also present, perhaps to show off the next big update.

There will be several titles from Western developers and publishers, from Elden Ring (and potentially the recent Shadow of the Erdtree expansion) to Immortals Fenyx Rising.
