										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Following its reveal at the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase, <a href="https://gamingbolt.com/starfield-releases-on-november-11th-2022-for-xbox-series-x-s-and-pc"><em>Starfield</em></a> has garnered a lot of attention. Though no gameplay footage was showcased, director Todd Howard revealed several key details like development being done on Creation Engine 2, <a href="https://gamingbolt.com/starfield-has-a-lot-of-factions-kind-of-like-skyrim-in-structure-todd-howard">the presence of several factions</a> and <a href="https://gamingbolt.com/starfield-is-very-big-developed-to-be-played-for-a-long-time-todd-howard">the scale being very large</a>. Of course, as always, the question has to be asked &#8211; what about <a href="https://gamingbolt.com/the-elder-scrolls-6-announced-first-ever-teaser-revealed"><em>The Elder Scrolls 6</em></a>?</p>
<p>Announced back in 2018 along with <em>Starfield</em>, <em>The Elder Scrolls 6</em> is a long ways off &#8211; Bethesda <a href="https://gamingbolt.com/the-elder-scrolls-6-wont-receive-new-details-for-years-bethesda">has said as much on a number of occasions</a>. Howard recently told <a href="https://www.telegraph.co.uk/gaming/news/first-pitched-game-lucas-2009-todd-howard-talks-indiana-jones/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Telegraph</a> that it&#8217;s good to consider the title as still &#8220;being in a design [phase]&#8221;. &#8220;The [new <em>Starfield</em>] technology, Creation Engine 2, is sort of built for both. It’s like a new tech base. The vast majority of our development work is on <em>Starfield</em> right now but everybody works on everything so the projects kind of intertwine.</p>
<p>&#8220;It’s good to think of <em>The Elder Scrolls 6</em> as still being in a design [phase]… but we’re checking the tech: &#8216;Is this going to handle the things we want to do in that game?&#8217; Every game will have some new suites of technology so <em>Elder Scrolls 6</em> will have some additions on to Creation Engine 2 that that game is going to require.&#8221; This seems to imply that the game could end up having some graphical features not seen in <em>Starfield</em>. But again, it&#8217;s safe to assume that it&#8217;s still several years off from release.</p>
<p>In the meantime, <em>Starfield</em> is slated to release on November 11th 2022 for Xbox Series X/S and PC. Howard has spoken about the exclusivity of the title, both <a href="https://gamingbolt.com/starfield-bethesda-understands-if-you-are-unhappy-or-pissed-about-xbox-exclusivity">apologizing to those who are unhappy about it</a> while <a href="https://gamingbolt.com/starfields-xbox-series-x-s-and-pc-exclusivity-will-make-for-a-better-product-todd-howard">promising that it will make for a better title</a>.
