The war against Hell finally comes to a close in DOOM Eternal: The Ancient Gods – Part 2. Bethesda and id Softworks released a new trailer for the DLC, which showcases the Slayer riding a dragon, acquiring the Hellbreaker and massacring scores of demons. Check it out below.

Along with the Hellbreaker, the DLC adds new enemies like an armored Fireborne Baron, and new levels with platforming challenges and underwater exploration. Eventually, the Slayer and Sentinels will take on the Dark Lord and his armies in an all-out war. This means giant robots punching giant demons which we’re all for.

DOOM Eternal: The Ancient Gods – Part 2 releases tomorrow for Xbox One, PS4, PC and Google Stadia. It’s a standalone DLC so you don’t need to purchase the base game to play it. Those interested in the latter can play it on Xbox Game Pass – it’s available for Xbox consoles, PC and the cloud.

After a recent leak, id Software and Bethesda have officially released the teaser trailer for DOOM Eternal: The Ancient Gods – Part 2. It sees the Slayer preparing to do battle with his arch-nemesis as forces on both sides teleport in. Check it out below.

The teaser does provide a bit of gameplay, showcasing a new armored demon type and the Slayer wielding a powerful hammer. The full trailer will be revealed on March 17th, which is likely when a release date will be announced. Regardless of how the final battle shakes out, the war against Hell will finally come to a close.

The first trailer for DOOM Eternal’s next DLC, The Ancient Gods – Part 2, has leaked. It mistakenly went live courtesy of Bethesda Softworks Italia and while the YouTube link has been pulled, a mirror is currently available (via Reddit).

Though it’s only a teaser trailer, it does tease the final conflict between the Slayer and the Dark Lord with the latter donning a massive battle armor. As the forces of Hell arrive on the battlefield via portals, the Slayer’s allies also arrive. The battle has a real Avengers: Endgame vibe to it and we’re all about it.

The full trailer presentation for the DLC is currently set for March 18th and will likely provide a release date. Stay tuned for more details in the meantime. DOOM Eternal is currently available for Xbox One, PS4, PC, Nintendo Switch and Google Stadia. It’s slated to receive enhancements for Xbox Series X/S and PS5 with a free upgrade being available for previous-gen console owners.
