Stage Fright will feature both online and offline co-op, and the studio compares the game’s chaotic gameplay to that of Overcooked thanks to players needing to put themselves in danger to save their partner.

The game features protagonists Drew, Blake and Charlie, and will tell a coming of age story that the studio describes as having memorable characters. The game will switch between different pairs of kids throughout its campaign, offering a host of new challenges that will likely be more suitable to each kid’s specific personality and skillset.

Stage Fright doesn’t yet have a release date. Stay tuned for more details on the game in the coming weeks and months.

Overcooked is the quintessential party game series and Overcooked: All You Can Eat! includes pretty much everything. Both games along with their DLC are included and remastered, providing hundreds of different levels to co-op in, both locally and online. Hitman 2 is the follow-up to Hitman (2016), providing more sandboxes for Agent 47 to assassinate his targets along with new modes, the new Sniper Assassin mode and much more.

As for Predator: Hunting Grounds, it’s an asymmetrical multiplayer shooter from IllFonic, the team behind Friday the 13th: The Game. It sees four players, armed to the teeth with military weapons, completing objectives while being stalked by the Predator. Despite a rough launch, it’s received a number of updates and improvements overtime.

Ghost Town Games’ first two Overcooked! games along with all of their content are coming to Xbox Series X and PS5. Published by Team17, Overcooked! All You Can Eat will release this year for next-gen consoles. Check out the announcement trailer below.

Both games have been “remastered from the ground up”, offering more than 200 levels to play through. New content includes seven new levels and three new chefs. Along with cross-platform multiplayer support, Overcooked!’s levels can now be played online as well.

Next-gen console players can look forward to 4K resolution and 60 frames per second support along with quicker loading times. There will also be an Assist Mode for new players which allows for skipping levels, increasing round duration and so on. New accessibility options include a scalable UI, color blindness settings, and dyslexic-friendly text.

Sony has announced some new big-name exclusives that will be joining PlayStation Now in January 2020. They are Guerrilla Games’ Horizon Zero Dawn, Naughty Dog’s Uncharted: The Lost Legacy and Ghost Town Games’ Overcooked! 2. All of these titles will be available to play until April 7th 2020 (though Overcooked! 2 hasn’t been allocated a cut-off day, we can assume it’s the same date).

Each game has been critically acclaimed in its own way. Horizon Zero Dawn won praise for its combination of exploration, story-telling and combat in a vibrant and unique open world. Uncharted: The Lost Legacy took the franchise in an interesting new direction by starring Chloe and Nadine (and adding some open world elements).

Overcooked! 2, meanwhile, adds new challenges and mechanics on top of the established cooking gameplay. Couch co-op and support for up to four players online is also possible. Just try not to strange your friends when things go awry.

Those looking to play some great PS4 titles now on the service can still check out Persona 5 and Middle-Earth: Shadow of War, which are available till February 2020. There’s also Wolfenstein: The Old Blood, F1 2019 and PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds which are live until March 2020.

Not a week goes by, it seems, without there being something controversial happening in regards to the Epic Games Store. It is what it is, and whether not you think it’s good or not is a debate we’ll continue to see unfold. That’s why it’s nice to return to a topic that is a little less charged with free games. This week’s free game on the storefront is Overcooked!

Overcooked! is a fast-paced cooking game with a co-op option. You must cook food, manage ingredients and get satisfied customers all within a certain time limit. While it sounds like a simple premise, much like the real restaurant business, challenges await. It’s all wrapped up in a cute chibi art style as well. If you enjoy the game, the sequel is also available to purchase.

Overcooked! will be free on the Epic Games Store and can be redeemed until July 11th, when it will be replaced by the RPG Torchlight from Runic Games.

Ovosonic’s Last Day of June is the latest free game on the Epic Games Store. If you have an Epic Games account, then you can download the free launcher for PC and claim the title now. Better hurry though – it’s only available until July 4th.

Last Day of June is the story of Carl and June. After a car accident sees Carl in a wheelchair and June deceased, the former happens to relive their memories together by touching a painting. Over time, it’s possible to change events and possibly save June. Of course, it wouldn’t be a proper tragedy if there was a happy ending. You’ll have to play the game for yourself to find out what happens next.

Meanwhile, the next free game on the Epic Games Store will be Ghost Town Games’ Overcooked. It’s a wacky cooking game with elements of co-op, and is renowned for testing the limits of one’s friendships. You can claim it for free on July 4th. The sequel, Overcooked 2, is also currently available for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.

Sony has announced the two games that will be available for free in the month of May for PlayStation Plus subscribers, and they’re good really good offerings, with Giant Sparrow’s What Remains of Edith Finch and Ghost Town Games’ Overcooked!

What Remains of Edith Finch is, of course, the standout game here. It’s a thoughtful and ponderous narrative-driven adventure title that sees you playing as Edith Finch, who returns to her family home to learn about the deaths of each of the Finch family, who are cursed to have all but one member from every generation to die in mysterious ways. It’s a surprisingly affecting and moving tale told via expert storytelling, so if that sort of thing interests you, this might be a great time to jump in (if you haven’t done so already).

Then there’s Overcooked!, which is a completely different kind of experience, but no less entertaining. Its co-op cooking “simulation” gameplay is accessible and a ton of fun, and can lead to countless moments of chaos- the good kind of chaos.

Both games will be available for free starting May 7.

Fans of Ghost Town Games’ scrumptious co-op cooking title Overcooked 2! have some new DLC to dig into. Campfire Cook Off is out now for Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC for $5.99. It brings a new map, new kitchens, and new chefs to the table. Check out the launch trailer below.

Along with a nature-rific map full of fireflies and beautiful brooks, players will have 12 normal and 3 Kevin kitchens to play through. The new chefs include some woodsy folk, like the Owl Chef, Beaver Chef, Explorer Chef, and Bear Chef. New recipes like s’mores and blueberry pancakes, backpacks for picking up ingredients, and campfires that must be supplied with wood ensure plenty of new ways to cook.

But wait, there’s more. Overcooked 2! has also received a Season Pass for $19.99. It provides Campfire Cook Off and two additional DLC packs that will be released later this year. If you haven’t tried Overcooked! 2, it’s probably worth a look for the co-op shenanigans, especially with two other DLC – Too Many Cooks and Surf ‘n’ Turf – also available.

Team17’s Overcooked! 2 has seen its fair share of updates thus far, but developer Ghost Town Games has even more on the way. A new teaser trailer has been released, which showcases a frozen setting with chefs. The teaser promises “something free-zing”, and it will be free, of course. Check it out below.

Other than some new winter levels, it’s possible that this update also sports some new mechanics to go with new recipes. As you might remember, the developer released a bundle of new stages and chefs with the Surf ‘n’ Turf DLC back in October. It wouldn’t be strange to expect something similar here, but maybe on a smaller scale.

When the update will release is still unknown, but Overcooked! 2 does offer quite a bit to experience already. In addition to the base game, there’s a free New Game Plus mode that brings a new difficulty – Expert – to the experience. Successfully completing missions will earn players another star on this difficulty.

Ghost Town Games’ Overcooked 2 has received new content with the Surf ‘n’ Turf DLC, which went live earlier today. A new trailer has been released to showcase some of the gameplay, and as the name indicates, it’s about tropical parties and dishes. Check it out below.

Along with the return of Chef Boof from the first game, there will be other new chefs to play as as well. Two new recipes, kebabs and smoothies, are also being added, along with some new kitchens taking place on beaches and rafts. Overall, there will be 12 new story levels and two new Versus levels for players to indulge in.

Though the overall price hasn’t been revealed on Steam, Overcooked 2 veterans can expect the New Game Plus update to be available for free. Launching today as well, it will add a new Expert difficulty for an additional star. The update will also bring new features, like changing chefs in the Pause menu, level previews on the world map, and much more.
