It’s another week, and it of course comes with more free games. There’s so many free games nowadays, does anyone have the time to play all this stuff? I have no idea, but that’s just something to ponder I suppose in this big, expansive of nothingness that is the universe. But speaking of the endless void of space, this week’s free Epic Games Store title is InnerSpace.

InnerSpace is all about flying and exploring set in the Inverse. It’s a world of inside-out planets where gravity is pulling out instead of in. It also has a very unique art style as you navigate this upside down universe.

InnerSpace is free via the Epic Games Store now and will be until March 5th. After that we will return to two free games with the next titles being Offworld Trading Company and GoNNER, which will, as usual, be free for a full week.

Humble Bundle’s latest offer is one that should be appealing for PlayStation 4 owners, especially those who love indie titles. The Humble Indie PlayStation Bundle 2019 offers up to nine different games and will be available until February 12th, 11 AM PST. Head here to pick it up for yourself.

The tiered-model is fairly simple – pay $1 and you get Grim Fandango Remastered, The Bard’s Tale Remastered, and InnerSpace. Pay more than the current average, which is about $9, and you get four more titles – Layers of Fear, Wasteland 2 Director’s Cut, The Talos Principle, and Broken Age. If you pay $15 or more, then you also get Killing Floor 2 and Shadow Warrior as well. Not a bad deal, overall.

Along with the games, you’ll also receive soundtracks for Grim Fandango, InnerSpace, Layers of Fear, and Broken Age. These are available at each game’s respective tier. Consumers can also decide how much of their money goes to charity, the Humble Store, or the developers in question.

PolyKnight Games’ InnerSpace was originally set to release in Summer of this year. However, they had missed the original release window but the game is still in the works and is set to release on January 16th, 2018.

The trailer is titled “Into the Inverse” and showcases the bright and colorful post-apocalyptic world of InnerSpace which players will fly through in the role of a Cartographer. Additionally, as the Cartographer, it is the player’s job to piece together the mystery surrounding the state of the world and to interpret the many secrets around them. The developers states, “when you hop into InnerSpace, I hope you question everything you see. This world is open to interpretation, and every experience will be different. When in doubt, just keep flying, and the secrets of the Inverse will reveal themselves.”

The game certainly sounds interesting and inspirations of titles such as Journey are evident. The game will release on PS4, PC and Xbox One on the same date.
