The Beginner’s Guide Now Available for PC

Creator of The Stanley Parable releases his newest game.

Davey Wreden’s newest title The Beginner’s Guide is now available for PC via Steam and the Humble Store. Wreden’s last title was the massively popular first person narrative title The Stanley Parable.

The Beginner’s Guide is pretty different from The Stanley Parable and lasts for roughly an hour and a half. It deals with the main character trying to understand a game developer and experiencing various, unfinished prototypes of that developer in the process. Things, as always, aren’t that simple and it eventually provides a rather eerie look into the process of game development.

You can pick up The Beginner’s Guide on Steam for 20 percent off until October 8th. Head here for screenshots of the game. What are your thoughts on the overall concept? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more information on The Beginner’s Guide in the coming weeks since we’re curious to see how it performs in light of The Stanley Parable.
