THE FINALS Beta Peaks at 235,948 Concurrent Players on Steam

The open beta is available now for PC, Xbox Series X/S and PS5 until November 5th and supports cross-platform multiplayer.

An open beta for THE FINALS, Embark Studios’ free-to-play multiplayer shooter, went live over the weekend and ends on November 5th. Based on SteamDB, it’s doing pretty well, peaking at 235,948 players on PC. There are over 190,000 players online right now, so it’s likely that the peak concurrent player total could increase before the beta’s conclusion.

The current beta offers several Arenas and Modes while adding new content like Skyway Stadium and Bank-It, where four three-player teams battle over coins. There’s also a Battle Pass with 16 exclusive rewards, which carry over into the game, and crossplay. It’s otherwise a means to stress-test the servers and provide feedback to the developer on the console versions.

THE FINALS doesn’t have a release window, but it’s coming to Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC. Stay tuned for more details in the meantime. Embark also hasn’t provided an update on its PvEvP extraction shooter ARC Raiders, but it’s planned for this year.
