The Grand Theft Auto 6 Age Ratings Were Fake, Australian Ratings Board Confirms

The ratings on the website were fake, and those ratings have been removed so as to not cause any further confusion on the matter.

Grand Theft Auto 6 is easily one of the most highly anticipated games at this point in time, and almost any rumour related to the game is bound to cause sparks of hope within hundreds of thousands of fans across the globe. Recently, it was observed that age ratings for GTA 6 were listed on the Australian Classification Board, but new report from PCGamesN has revealed that it was all fake.

As it turns out, it’s possible for anyone to submit ratings for a game which will start reflecting on the website. The Australian Classification Board also confirmed that the ratings did not come from an official source, and have been removed from the website.

To conclude, we don’t have concrete information about when Grand Theft Auto 6 will be releasing or when fans can expect an announcement trailer. However, Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick did previously state that the company is forecasting a massive revenue inflection in FY 2025, which could be related to GTA 6 in some way- read more on that through here.
