Standing up to bullies is always a great way to earn some goodwill, but Take-Two has lucked out in the recent situation with Rockstar.
According to public records in the UK, Rockstar North's magnum opus is already far above the competition in terms of costs.
Previously part of Zynga before it was acquired by Take-Two, Luke Dicken and several unknown team members have apparently been laid off.

Over a decade since Grand Theft Auto 5 launched to massive success, and following numerous delays, the sequel may finally be upon us.
Strauss Zelnick was asked about whether recent reports about the physical release being delayed to prevent leaks were credible.
"We're still supporting Borderlands," says Strauss Zelnick, despite no update on sales numbers and pausing Switch 2 development.
"Their worlds are handcrafted. That's what differentiates them," said Strauss Zelnick about the development of Grand Theft Auto 6.
Noting a "light touch" when dealing with Rockstar, Strauss Zelnick said he has every reason to think that GTA Online support will continue.
A Take-Two spokesperson confirmed this, while also noting that the company is continuing working with Nintendo on other titles.
Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick feels "very good" about the release date, with his confidence level "as high as it can be."
A leaker claims the physical version could arrive about three to four weeks after the worldwide release or get pushed to early 2027.
A fan diagnosed with only six to 12 months to live has seemingly gone hands-on with the title before its launch on November 19th.
The denial for interim pay came from UK judge Frances Eccles who said that the employees had high standards to prove union busting.
