SCE Studios president Shuhei Yoshida told VG247 that Team ICO is making progress with The Last Guardian’s development, but admits the development is taking longer than anybody would have expected.
“The Last Guardian team has been making progress,” he said. “It’s been very difficult in terms of seeing the progress: not as fast as we’d been hoping for, and the team has been under big pressure. But we’re still making progress, so I’d like to continue to support and keep waiting for great news sometime in the future.”
Unveiled back at E3 2009, we’ve been waiting for the game for a long time now. Looks like it won’t be out for at least another year.
