The system requirements for APB are here, FAQ as well.

If you are one of those PC gamers who doesn’t know if his computer can run certain games, and if you happen to be wanting to play the upcoming APB, you can check out the system requirements for the title and see if your PC is up for the challenge:

And here is the new FAQ which you can find on the official APB website:

What is APB (All Points Bulletin) and why should I be interested?

Imagine a living breathing city, but for the first time ever it’s online with streets full of vehicles and thousands of civilians going about their daily life.

Introduce 100 players to this online city. Their mission is to gain fame and fortune, and gain them fast. Many will take to a life of crime, feeding on the city, its people and its businesses. Other players, the Enforcers, will feed on the Criminal players. What will the outcome be?

The great thing is, we don’t know! It’s an online sandbox. Many players will achieve celebrity or notoriety for their skills or style. Alliances will be formed, rivalries will be bitter. One thing we do know: every player will be unique. Thanks to cutting-edge technology, players can personalize their looks, clothing, vehicles and music.

How big is the game world? And how many people fit on one server?

Each game world – or server – holds up to 100,000 players. These players will be playing on district maps which hold up to 100 players per action districts and 250 players per social districts. Each world has hundreds of these instanced district maps, so although any single action district has a 100-player limit, there is no limit to the number of other players you might encounter.

For the individual players who top the leagues, their characters will become famous across the whole world, not just one district. APB is a brand new gaming concept where the players are the game, in a world full of innovative tools and game play.

Is APB an MMO?

APB is entirely online and multiplayer however, it’s a unique game unlike other MMOs out there. The game runs on fast, high-quality dedicated servers allowing you to enter cities and engage in a new style of game where your actions bring you into opposition with other players dynamically: there’s no waiting in lobbies. You can encounter thousands of other players over a short period of time. Our dynamic matchmaking allows solo and group play in missions, against – or with – real people, never an AI. We’re still working out how to describe that in a three letter acronym… Suggestions are welcome.

How much will APB cost?

You can purchase a retail version of APB either in-store or via digital download at standard retail price (SRP $49.99/£34.99/€49.99). The game includes 50 hours of action game play out of the box plus unlimited time in APB’s social districts customizing, socializing and trading on the marketplace.

Once your game time is up, you have flexibility to top up your action game time from as little as $6.99 (£5.59, €6.29) for an additional 20 hours, while more frequent players can switch to a 30-day unlimited package for only $9.99 (£7.99, €8.99) with discounts available for 90 and 180 days.

The retail package also contains a bonus 100 RTW points towards your next purchases.

An additional benefit to this evolutionary model is the ability for you to convert your own customizations and rewards to tradable products to give to friends or clan-mates or to place on the Marketplace to earn more RTW points (convertible to game time) or in-game cash.
